It was a family affair this weekend at the 2011 White House Easter Egg Roll in Washington D.C.
Celebrity Couple Djimon Hounsou and Kimora Lee Simmons brought along their Baby boy Kenzo Honsou, Kimora’s famous ex-husband Russell Simmons and their daughters Ming Lee Simmons and Aoki Lee Simmons.

I think it’s wonderful that there is no bad blood and that they can remain friends for the sake of the children. I think it says a lot about Kimora and Russell and also Djimon Hounsou for also being open minded.

I think more parents need to take a page out their book…

Kimora explained why she is still holding on to the Simmons last name even though she’s since remarried.

I’ve already been Kimora Lee Simmons for 10 years. When it comes to my brand, My brand is KLS (Kimora Lee Simmons). It would be hard to change it to KLH… I think professionally the name remains the same, but in my personal life I am definitely a Hounsou… Russell doesn’t care. I worked as hard for that name as he did!”

Kimora also asked a reporter in an interview would they question Ivana Trump for keeping the Trump name.

It seems that Russell Simmons is cool with it, so I don’t understand why other people are salty about it.
