Lisa Cherry, a 46-year-old Lake Worth woman was jailed Monday after she allegedly stabbed a man because she was “sick of cooking for him”.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, a 56-year-old man contacted police after Cherry stabbed him in a fit of rage over cooking dinner.

The victim stated that he and Cherry had been drinking beer that day when she began yelling at him. She then allegedly threw several food items out of the house while shouting that she was “sick of cooking dinner for him.”

When the victim threatened to cut Cherry’s pony-tail off if she didnt calm down , she reportedly grabbed a kitchen knife, cut the home phone line, and then stabbed the victim’s left hand.

A witness who was inside the home during the confrontation confirmed the man’s story.

Cherry was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail and charged with aggravated battery. She is currently being held without bail.
